Anglo is a professional motor racing team operated
by Owner/Manager, Tim Beale and staff. Tim brings a wealth of
experience from England - the home of Formula Ford - where he
raced and engineered Formula Fords competitively. His vast experience
ensures fast and reliable race cars.
AAM is currently looking for two young drivers to fill the JDP State Level seats for the 2008 season. Starting in the middle of 2007 they will be scheduling one-day test sessions at Wakefield Park. Drivers will complete approximately 80-90 laps in the Formula Ford race cars.

In the first year, Anglo raised sufficient funds to
assist one JDP driver at the State Level. The JDP expanded to
a two-car team in 2003 and advanced to National Level in 2004.
The new JDP State Championship drivers for the 2008 season are Rob Storey at National Level, Tom Tweedie, Nathan Morcom and Ryan Simpson at State Level.
Rob Storey has had racing in his blood since birth, and with this came a strong passion to be a professional race car driver. After racing BMX for 5 years, Rob then turned to go karting, racing first at club then on to state and national level competition, achieving several titles along the way. In 2004 he entered Formula Ford, competing in selected state rounds as well as some one off national events. His speed and talent were quickly apparent to everyone when he scored pole position at his second ever race meeting. After an impressive one-off race with Anglo Motorsport, Rob was quick to sign a deal with the Seven Hills based operation for the 2007 Season, which he successfully won. He took the NSW State Championship with an impressive 9 wins, 3 poles and 12 fastest laps in his Spirit WL07 Kent Chassis. He was the first to win a championship worldwide for the new Spirit manufactured chassis. Rob is now Anglo’s lead driver in the National Championship for 2008.

Tom Tweedie began his motorsport career after the decision to move from Motocross and follow his fathers footsteps to four wheels completing all requirements for his CAMS National racing license at age 14 years and 9 months. Due to CAMS age restrictions requiring all drivers to be a minimum of 16 years of age to participate in all circuit racing events meant Tom was limited to hill climbs and lap dashes. In 2005 (aged 16) he competed in his first race in Historic Formula Ford with promising results. His progress continued rapidly in 2006 being his second year and he won the New South Wales HSRCA Historic Formula Ford Championship after numerous 1st places. Tom wishes to progress with his motorsport career and entered the NSW Formula Ford State Championship in 2007 as part of the Junior Development Program run by Anglo Australian Motorsport where he came 4th outright in the championship driving a Van Dieman Stealth. 2008 sees a return to the NSW Formula Ford State Championship where Tom will campaign last years championship winning Spirit WL07 and use this to launch his progress into either National Formula Ford or Formula 3 in 2009.

Since the day Nathan Morcom was born, he has been exposed to Motorsport with his father Barry a competitor via Production Cars, V8 Supercars, and Performance Cars, and at the age of 10 Morcom had his first taste of competitive motorsport. Starting in the Midget class, Morcom then progressed into the Rookie class of Go Karting, but it was in the Junior class, which he joined in 2005, was where he started to turn heads out on the track. Competing in a variety of Junior classes since then, that include Junior National Light and Heavy, Junior Rotax, and Junior Clubman, and Morcom has achieved a lot of success in this time. A front runner over the past three years in the Premier State Cup Series, based in NSW, and picked up multiple round wins over a range of classes, Morcom has also tasted success in State Title events such as Tasmania and South Australia, and most recently victory in the National Title with the Junior National Heavy class. Morcom at the age of 16 in 2008 has stepped up to the Formula Ford ranks competing in the NSW Championship with Anglo and the plan is to progress into the National Championship the following year.

He was also awarded the NSW CAMS competitor of the year in 2006. He has competed in one off drives in Aussie Racing Cars 2006 & Commodore Cup 2007. In 2008 Ryan decided Formula Ford was his best step forward in motorsport and joined the Anglo Team.
